Hot Fudge and Peppermint Stick Ice Cream

Hot fudge sundaes may not be your traditional Christmas dessert, but if you haven't tried hot fudge poured over peppermint stick ice cream (available only seasonally in our area), you don't know what you are missing. And I learned how to make my Mom's hot fudge sauce Christmas Eve night (at the age of 42) and I am willing to share.... Here goes:

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup mini marshmallows
1/2 cup non-fat evaporated milk.


Melt all three ingredients over low heat, stirring frequently until smooth. Poor while warm over the ice cream of your choice. Eat. Go back for seconds. Yum!
